Introdução: A dengue, zika e chikungunya são desafios em saúde pública em todo o mundo, especialmente no Brasil, de maneira que o controle vetorial e a participação popular são imprescindíveis para o combate à essas doenças. Metodologia: Realizou-se uma revisão sistemática abrangente sem restrições de linguagem e com seleção de estudos até 2018, visando identificar evidências científicas sobre conhecimentos, atitudes e práticas da população e dos profissionais de saúde na prevenção à dengue, zika e chikungunya. Resultados: Foram identificados 115 estudos elegíveis, a maioria publicados entre 2013 e 2018 (67%/n=77), relatando estudos realizados na América (52,2%/n=60) e Ásia (43,5%/n=50). Os resultados foram separados em três categorias: 1) Conhecimentos gerais e percepções de risco sobre as doenças; 2) Atitudes e Práticas referidas; e 3) Fontes de Informação. Verificou-se que em relação à zika e a chikungunya, tanto os profissionais de saúde quanto a população geral ainda não assimilaram as informações sobre os principais sintomas e características dessas arboviroses. Em relação à dengue, observa-se fortes associações entre nível de escolaridade, sexo e idade e o conhecimento da doença. Quanto as atitudes e práticas, observa-se que há correlação entre as práticas referidas e o conhecimento gerais sobre as arboviroses e o vetor. Considerações finais: Segundo os dados apresentados, demonstra-se que boa parte da população estudada já ouviu falar sobre a dengue, zika e chikungunya, seus sintomas, seu vetor, e as formas de controle/prevenção à doença, assim como as práticas de prevenção ao desenvolvimento do vetor estão assimiladas, entretanto, em parte dos estudos, tais práticas não se mostraram satisfatórias ou foram realizadas por uma pequena proporção dos estudados. A análise, em um nível macro, tornou possível identificar um deslocamento quanto ao tipo de discurso vigente relativamente às estratégias de prevenção: de um discurso publicitário (mais) biomédico para outro que caracterizei como um discurso publicitário (mais) comercial, pautado nas estratégias do marketing social. Considerando esse deslocamento e a partir de um certo modo de fazer (ver) (isto é, de uma metodologia explorada no detalhe), analisei dezesseis anúncios organizados segundo três perguntas/categorias: “Como se dá a transmissão do HIV?”; “Em que período a transmissão ocorre?” e “Quais são as estratégias utilizadas pelos anúncios para promover a prevenção da transmissão do HIV?”. Essas perguntas/categorias, especialmente a última delas, centraram a análise nas seguintes dimensões: a transmissão em cadeia do HIV, bem como junto a DSTs; o recorrente lançamento de campanhas de prevenção no período de carnaval e as suas transformações ao longo do tempo; a ênfase na redução de parceiros sexuais e o tom moralista associado a essa recomendação, especialmente presente no final dos anos 1980; o uso do medo, da culpa e da responsabilização e, por outro lado, do humor como estratégias de prevenção; o empowerment feminino e o imperativo da negociação do uso do preservativo; e, por fim, a propaganda conceitual do preservativo, apresentado como sinônimo de sexo seguro. Analiso, ao final, como o governo da vida individual –e a centralidade da ação individual preconizada nos anúncios televisivos das campanhas oficiais de prevenção– torna-se, nas estratégias pautadas na governamentalidade e no risco, vital ao governo da vida coletiva. Em outras palavras, que o investimento sobre o indivíduo, depositando nele a possibilidade de “se prevenir” do HIV/AIDS, é o modo como se pode fazer que, no todo, se modifique o perfil de uma epidemia. Method: Qualitative study, carried out from March to October 2015, with nurses of primary healthcare units in the cities of Cajazeiras, in the state of Paraíba, and Maracanaú, in the state of Ceará. Data were collected by means of semi-structured interviews, and analyzed through discourse analysis. Results: Nurses, in their practice and perception, perceive that professional identity is linked to the meaning that involves the word "everything". This situation constitutes a habitus that directs the range of daily actions, often distant from the profession's core of knowledge. Final considerations: Trying to be and do everything in primary health care involves negative repercussions in the professional identity of nurses. Strategic guidance is necessary in order to achieve and embrace elements that reflect the essence of this category.
