Neste sentido, nesta pesquisa, a partir da ótica a teoria queer, de desconstrução e questionamento das categorias convencionais, buscamos analisar as experiências de transgêneros nas organizações, no tocante às formas de discriminação que emergem das relações entre sexualidade e trabalho. Para tanto, realizamos uma pesquisa empírica nos meses de abril, maio e junho de 2016, com oito transgêneros, de empresas diversas, e também de diferentes perfis demográficos, na cidade da Uberlândia, Minas Gerais. Seus relatos foram todos transcritos e submetidos a análise de discurso. O estudo revelou que existem diversas formas de preconceito e discriminação percebidas pelos transgêneros nas práticas organizacionais e também as implicações sociais e psicológicas que essas práticas podem causar. Em diálogo com a literatura especializada e a partir de doze depoimentos colhidos, são focalizados aspectos da relação entre travestis e o mundo do trabalho, especialmente os embaraços, estorvos ou impedimentos às suas aspirações e realizações profissionais. Esta pesquisa teve como tema os desafios que os agentes comunitários de saúde (ACS) e os agentes de combate às endemias (ACE) encontram no agir comunicativo relacionado à prevenção de dengue, zika e chikungunya. O cenário atual dos problemas em saúde pública, como o caso da epidemia de dengue, zika e chikungunya, exige um enfrentamento em que a informação e a comunicação em saúde tornam-se imperativas. No decorrer deste trabalho, tentou-se responder à seguinte pergunta de pesquisa: como ocorrem os processos de comunicação entre os agentes de saúde e de endemias e a comunidade para a prevenção de dengue, zika e chikungunya? Sobre esse tema e seus desdobramentos nos debruçarmos doravante. A abordagem metodológica aqui adotada é a hermenêutica dialética. Essa combinação de oposições complementares que apresenta a hermenêutica dialética é essencial para a compreensão das relações e interações estabelecidas entre os sujeitos envolvidos. Foram entrevistados 64 ACS e ACE nas cinco regiões do país, sendo um munícipio por região. Além de ser atualmente um desafio para o processo de comunicação dos agentes de saúde e de endemias com a comunidade para a prevenção de dengue, zika e chikungunya, a gestão da informação torna-se imperativa para a superação de outros desafios. O ambiente de compreensão da gestão de informações ganha relevância na medida em que sua aplicabilidade depende do entendimento do papel dessa gestão por parte dos agentes comunitários de saúde e de endemias. Visando reduzir as disparidades em saúde, a abordagem da competência cultural promove discussões sobre grupos populacionais com diferenças nas necessidades de cuidados de saúde, que resultem em iniquidades. Esta revisão integrativa da literatura objetivou analisar as produções científicas que abordam a competência cultural dos profissionais da saúde em relação à população LGBT. A pesquisa foi realizada nas bases de dados, PubMed, Scielo, Biblioteca Virtual em Saúde (BVS) e Scopus, em agosto de 2016. Os descritores utilizados para a busca foram "competência cultural", "atenção à saúde" e "LGBT". Foram identificadas 355 publicações científicas. Após a leitura dos títulos e resumos, 63 foram selecionados para a análise do texto completo, dos quais resultaram 43 estudos que foram analisados. Os achados indicaram a falta de discussão acadêmica sobre a temática nos currículos de formação das profissões da saúde. Demonstrando que a prática profissional tem sido marcada pelos padrões culturais heteronormativos, resultando em práticas de cuidado inadequadas e preconceituosas. Desta forma a construção de discussões baseadas em orientações publicadas por especialistas e organizações profissionais se mostra urgente. Havendo que se discutir as diferenças entre crenças e atitudes sociopolíticas, legais e culturais, visando combater estigmas e preconceitos geradores de barreiras ao acesso e à qualidade da atenção à saúde integral da população LGBT.
